The book is devoted to the little-known history of the formation and combat path of the "Galicia" division - the Ukrainian military unit in the German army during the Second World War and the organizational activities of its combatant associations in the post-war period. The collection is based on scientific studies of individual aspects of the life of divisional personnel, reinforced by a block of recollections of direct participants. Its special component is about two thousand biographical information of the natives of the Lviv region, which during 1943-1945. They fought as part of the "Galicia" division, died or went all its thorny path. The publication contains the memoirs of 18 divisional soldiers. Six of them are still among us! These veteran veterans live in Ukraine, Canada, Great Britain...
