The purpose of the conference is to discuss the methodological, environmental and social aspects of the use of atomic energy at the present stage and the technical solutions for their achievement, the analysis of the state of scientific research on nuclear and radiation technologies, the development of recommendations for the implementation of scientific research in the field of the modern development of nuclear energy: safety of stations, modernization NPP, radiation monitoring, radioactive waste management, training of personnel for NPP. Special attention will be paid to the issues related to the construction of nuclear power plants in Belarus: the country's energy security, the feasibility study of the NPP entry into the Belarusian energy system, features of the NPP-2006 project, scientific studies to justify the development of nuclear power, promising nuclear power plants, nuclear technologies, based on the use of splitting of heavy nuclei in their interaction with radiation, radiation technologies, the development of methods, technological solutions and new Safety technologies for the operation of radiation installations, the management of radioactive waste and spent nuclear fuel, the radioecological situation in the area of the NPP location, etc.
