The book dwells on the theory of "Armenian Renaissance" which was circulated in Armenological literature in the 40-60's of the 20th century. This theory was an endeavor to analyze and evaluate the changes which took place in Armenia culture in the 10th-14th centuries in the framework of the "Eastern Renaissance" research paradigm. Within the time context, the propositions of such a theory, to some extent, was justified and besides, in general, it was an interesting hypothesis in understanding of the historical trends of the Armenian culture.
