This book contains the research works by scholars who took part in the International Scientific Conference (the 10th Krushanov’s readings) that was held in Vladivostok in June 2021. The wide range of studies that were being represented in the conference was divided into a number of main topics and included: history of the Russian Far East before year 1922, history of the Far East of the USSR, history of the Russian Far East at the turn of the 20th and 21st centuries, archaeology, ethnology and cultural studies, oriental studies and international relations. Along with the introduction of new problems and reconceptualization of disputable issues the works of the scholars involve extensive field work facts and evidence of the history of Far Eastern Russia and neighboring Asian countries providing many experts with interesting and relevant information.
