In the dictionary the materials of patois from the Tver Regions of Russia: the Upper Volga Area, regions of lakes Seliger, Peno, Vselug, Sterzh are presented for the reader's attention. The above mentioned areas represent one of the main regions of Russia where for many centuries there had been routes from East to West for a large number of peoples. The publication of the dictionary makes it available to study the unique closed Seliger Lake Region on the basis of monographic description of the patois, atlas and dictionary where the records made in the 80s - 90s of the XIXth century enrich the study of regularities in the evolution of Russian speech of the end of the XXth century.
