The documents of the State Archive of Literature and Arts, which were earlier unavailable even for researchers, are presented in the guide-book. The 8th edition of the book includes mainly personal funds of prominent figures in the field of culture who emigrated from the USSR or were in exile, and the funds of various organizations. The materials were reposited to the archive during the period from 1993 to 2000. About 300 funds are described. The appendix includes indexes with names, public and social institutions and the most important historical and cultural events.
