The present work inquires into the world history in the Euro-Asiatic area during the XIV-XVIth centuries. Results of research, conducted in the course of many years help the author assess the role of the Romanian Principalities in hindering and weakening the Ottoman forces, which were besieging Christian medieval Europe.
