The exhibition catalog presents outstanding, original works of Tver painting – the icons "Christ the Almighty", "Mother of God" and "Apostle Paul", created in the XV century for the deification of the temple iconostasis. The publication includes an article by the curator of the exhibition, M.I. Yakovleva, telling about the difficult fate of monuments belonging to different owners. The article considers them as part of a single artistic ensemble and evaluates their figurative and stylistic characteristics, as well as the difficult issue of dating.
