The problems of migration processes in the Far East of Russia and the impact of the migration situation on the dynamics of the population in the region are considered. The risks for the stabilization of the population in the Far Eastern Federal District are assessed. Data on the migration situation in some regions of the Far East are given. The influence of multidirectional migration flows on the dynamics of the population in the region is shown: interregional, with the CIS countries and the far abroad. Changes in the migration attractiveness of economic microdistricts are analyzed. The influence of intraregional migration on the formation of the population potential and provision of economic agents with labor resources at the level of the subject of the Federation is investigated.
