Prague was a center of Russian literary emigration (as Paris and Berlin). “Skit” is the first Russian emigrant literary union, which existed in Prague from 1922 till 1940. Basing on the archives of Prague, Moscow, Saint-Petersburg, emigrant periodicals, the book presents creative work, diaries, reminiscences and letters of the participants of that union.
