The works by Grisha Bruskin, a famous painter and sculptor, have been almost unknown to general public till 1986; the authorities have repeatedly prohibited his personal exhibitions. Nevertheless, in 1988 Bruskin's works were sold at extremely high prices at Moscow auction. Nowadays his creations embellish collections of the largest museums of the world.
