Artist Katia Golitsyna has always been fond of Moscow Art Nouveau and now became the author of the series, which reveal the magic of lines and details of Moscow architectural style at the turn of the XIXth-XXth centuries. Documentary precision and decorative ornamentation, attachment to the original motif and romantic richness of the image, reality and fantasy are fused together in Katia Golitsyna’s works. The artist invented her own technique of “photo-graphics” in which the traditional photograph and its subsequent hand-made graphic treatment are combined.
