Boris Leonidovich Pasternak (1890-1960) is a classic of Russian poetry and prose of the XXth century. The authors of the book - the poet's son Yevgenii and wife Yelena Vladimirovna created the most authoritative and complete biography of Boris Pasternak. In the process of creation of the book extensive materials including those that were kept in the archives of the KGB were drawn in order to reveal the little-known pages of the biography of the poet who personally experienced what it is to write the "anti-Soviet" novel "Doctor Zhivago".
