The book deals with relations between the state and religious associations in the legal systems of East and West. Using the conceptual approaches in order to solve the urgent problems of theory and practice of legal regulation of these relations in various countries around the world, the author tried to identify patterns for development and improvement of legislation to create an optimal model of relations between the state and religious groups in modern Russia.
