The book highlights the legal status of Russian trade unions from the time of their first legalization in 1906 to the present day. A brief description of their general legal status, determined by a set of norms of several branches of law (civil, administrative, labor, etc.), is given. Particular attention is paid to the legal status of Russian trade unions in the social and labor sphere, since it is in labor law that the bulk of the norms on the rights of trade unions are concentrated.
