The turn of the 1920s and 1930s brought a decade of enormous transformation in the Soviet Union. In 1929, the first five-year plan began in the country under Joseph Stalin's rule. It was also then that the collectivization of agriculture took place on a massive scale. Both processes aimed not only at transforming the Soviet economy. These changes, combined with the ongoing terror, were intended to affect the entire socio-political life of the country with its capital in Moscow. These events generated genuine interest among Polish conservative journals, as exemplified by the book presented here. It analyzes the journalism of the most important conservative publications from this period.
