The first geographical big encyclopedic dictionary is a new type of the modern subject reference book dictionary. It is made on the basis of the universal database of the new type data. The dictionary contains more than 11 thousand entries which reflect the modern map of the world, including the articles about continents, countries and cities, administrative territorial division of many countries, oceans, seas, rivers and lakes, isles and peninsulars, mountains, plains and glaciers, caves and other geographical objects. The entries also contain information about the connected with them historical objects, architectural monuments and other places of interest.
