The book is dedicated to the first Abkhazian newspaper “Apsny”, which had been published after the revolution of 1917, but before the Abkhazian government was established in the context of difficult political and economic situation in the country. The newspaper played an important role in the strengthening of national identity and development of Abkhazian culture and literature.
