The collection of scientific reports presents the main essence of the economy. The author tries to explain the functions of the economy on the basis of the analysis of self-reproduction of fixed capital. Correcting Carl Marx’s theory of self-production he determines the essence and quantitative characteristics of fixed capital self-production that enable the economy to grow. These features give new opportunities for development of a new theory of self-production.
