Based on a great number of sources the monograph comprises many-sided research on historical development of eastern part of the Podol Area - the Bratslav Region during the period of liberation struggle of the Ukrainian people. The eminent Ukrainian scholar O.Dan characterizes the boundaries of the territories under the control of the Bratslav, Uman and Kal'nytskyi Regiments, elucidates the process of penetration of the prince's families and Poilsh clans, describes their basic clans that possessed lands on Ukrainian territories.
