Abstracts are dedicated to the problems of genesis, formation and incorporation of the Cossacks to the socio-cultural space of Russia as well as to formation of the Cossacks Service, and to the role of military service in formation of the Cossacks culture. Special attention is drawn to wars and socio-political crises in the fate of the Russian Cossacks, and to interrelations of Cossacks with the Government, and also to intercultural relations in the army service territories.
