The cathedral is a unique architectural monument, its interior is decorated with frescoes of 1313. It is the most ancient cathedral, the cradle of Pskov architectural and painting school, which reached the fullest flower in the late XIVth century. Descriptions, plans and drawings of facades, photos of the exterior and wall paintings give a clear idea of old Pskov architecture and religious paintings.
