Readers will be introduced to rare documents and records from the archive of Ivan "Vancho" Mihailov (1896-1990), a Bulgarian revolutionary in interwar Macedonia, the last leader of the Internal Macedonian Revolutionary Organization (VMRO). The book fleshes out Mihailov's image as a great revolutionary and a great person. It sheds light on various developments such as the attempts to put VMRO under Comintern authority, and Mihailov's correspondence with Bulgarian prime minister Alexander Tsankov. The second part of the book includes interviews granted to the author Tsanko Serafimov. In the third part Serafimov presents his views on moments in Bulgarian history related to Macedonia.
