“The Holy Tale in Simple Short Stories for School and Home Reading” - that was the title of the book by archpriest Alexandr Sokolov published in St. Petersburg in 1896. The book was intended for children aged from 5 to 10 and comprised more than 100 short stories about creation of the World prior to Jesus Christ’s birth.
