Yakub Kolas's poem "New Earth" has several readings. The most common is "the encyclopedia of peasant life". In the proposed research, the author argues that even this traditional reading is still incomplete and opens up in a new, sometimes unexpected way, both individual pages of the masterpiece and the work as a whole. Moreover, this is done another time through discussions with previous researchers of "New Earth" and even with its author himself. Through previously untested literary approaches to the poem, it emerges with new facets of ideology and high art. Written in lively language, with elements of intrigue, the book is able to interest not only specialists, but also a wide circle of readers who are in love with the art of words and Belarusian literature in particular.
