The present work describes more than 7,600 types of the most common coins in our country, minted in the regions of Dacia, Upper and Lower Mysia, Thrace, Thracian Chersonesus, the Kingdom of Odris, Macedonia, Paeonia, the city of Athens and the Thracian islands. One of the greatest values of the book is the numerous tables in which the images of 1420 coins can be found. In addition to the imperial and autonomous coins from the provinces and cities listed above, the book also pays special attention to Bulgarian coinage. The section on Bulgarian coins contains about 150 different types and is undoubtedly the most important and most valuable part of this work. In addition to the coins of Bulgarian kings known at the time of the publication of the book, those of the Thracian, Getic, Macedonian and Paeon rulers are also described.
