This book is about the family which gave much to Russia. Its fathers are the one of “the founders fathers” of the Russian capitalism in the second half of the XVIIIth – the beginning of the XIXth century. The Alekseyevs went the whole way from the peasants to the large high-technological production. After the revolution the family of Alekseyevs continued to serve Russia despite all difficulties and privations. The descendants of the family showed themselves as actors, singers, Russian culture figures. Konstantin Sergeyevich Alekseyev-Stanislavsky was the founder of the world-famous theatrical school, his brothers and sisters were his associates.
