This book is composed of the memoirs of the former soldier of the OUN army that fought against communists as the regiment of German army during World War II. The book has been written in the form of an autobiography and includes a lot of minor facts that are, nevertheless, of major importance hence they help to reconstruct the history of nationalistic movement in the local Ukrainian places and to understand the motives of young Ukrainian patriots.
