The book is devoted to reminiscences about childhood dating back to the first stage of autobiographical genre in Russia. In the first chapter you will find an examination of texts related to the XVI-XVIIth centuries. In the second one the analysis of childhood reminiscences dating back to the epoch of Enlightenment is given. The third chapter contains published fragments about childhood singled out from autobiographical texts. All fragments are supplied with biographical and text comments.
