The book is dedicated to the grandson of the legendary Cholak Surkhay Khan - Surkhay Khan II, popularly nicknamed Kunbutta, that means "The Great Father", in the sense of the caring father of the people, also known from Russian and foreign sources as Surkhay Khan II Kunbutta, Kham-Butai, Chanka Hamutai Kazikumytsky and others, who all his life waged an unequal war with the tsarist autocracy.
