The monograph is the first research of the Sumerian religious categories ME (one of the decrees of the gods foundational to those social institutions, religious practices, technologies, behaviors, mores, and human conditions that make civilization, as the Sumerians understood it, possible) in ritually-mythological, historical and philosophical aspects. At the same time this is the first study of the Sumerian calendar spring holidays in their ritual and mythological context.
