The collection of articles is divided in two parts. The first part is devoted to the settlement in the Middle Drweca river-basin and covers the following main questions: settlement dynamics and structure in the mentioned area; natural and anthropogenic vegetation changes; formation of ethnic relations, etc. The second part deals with cultural changes in the Chelmno land; the authors concentrate their attention on the origin and history of the early medieval strongholds, cemeteries, etc. Several articles of the second part are devoted to the development of folk art in the mentioned region. Standing orders are accepted.
