The research is devoted to state strategy of the Chinese People’s Republic in the sphere of education, its development and specific features: national and those conditioned by a transitional period. The monograph which covers nearly a quarter of a century of reforms (from 1978 to 2002) is based on a wide sources and literature in Russian, English and Chinese.
