The book comprises scientific works of A.Kasymzhanov (1931-2000), a prominent Kazakh philosopher, which were written during the last decade of the XXth century. The volume is published on the occasion of the author's 70th jubilee. The author refers to the history of the Kazakh spiritual culture, paying special attention to the scientific works of al'-Farabi and Maturidi. Besides, the problem of self-consciousness of the Kazakh people is considered in the book.
