The monograph is devoted to the study of Soviet-Polish relations from the conclusion of the Treaty of Riga to the May coup and the establishment of a regime of "rehabilitation" in Poland. The relations between Soviet Russia / the USSR and Poland are considered by the author in the context of the international situation that existed in the early and mid-1920s within the framework of the Versailles-Riga system of international relations. The problems and contradictions that led to the persistence of tensions in Soviet-Polish relations after the Treaty of Riga have been identified. It is established that after the end of the Polish-Soviet war, the struggle between Poland and Soviet Russia for dominance in Eastern Europe did not stop, but only changed its methods. It is concluded that the tendency to normalize them periodically indicated in Soviet-Polish relations could not become stable, as the foreign policy goals of the two states differed radically.
Addressed to scientists, teachers of universities and other educational institutions, students.
The monograph was prepared as part of the State Research Program for 2016-2020 "Economics and Humanitarian Development of Belarusian Society", subtask "Belarus in Polish-Soviet relations 1918-1939" (supervisor Doctor of Historical Sciences NN Mezga)
