An autobiography by Bulgarian pop singer and songwriter Biser Kirov (1942-2016). Kirov says: "I was tempted to see the big, wide world and meet audiences in different countries, and I was convinced that my voice was a ticket to everyone's soul. I felt there was a 'preacher side' to my profession. When I was a child, I became aware of the suggestive power of music and language emanating from the pulpit of my father's church, and as an adult, I felt I was living up to my father's dream that I should be like him. I'm not exaggerating, I was right where I belonged. I even thought I could change the world by singing. But what mattered most to me was freedom. Music gave me freedom."
