The book is devoted to the analysis and the summary of clothes complex. The clothes complex is of Vershneobskoy basin’s (Upper Ob River) population, the epoch is Early Iron Age (VI–V – III–II BC). The territory of Vershneye Priobie (Upper Ob River Region) reprints a peripheral region towards Eurasia steppe, its landscape formulated the character of local population contacts with adjacent nomad cultures of Early Iron Age. The marker of the communication is the clothes extant in the burial mounds and the burial grounds of Bol’sherech’ye (Big River) culture and historical community. It is becoming more important as a historical source while studying the material culture of people having no written language. The information of clothes complex is based on its material and semantic characteristics, determinating the utilitarian and symbolic functions of garments.
