B.Shapiro has been writing his poems for more than 20 years, but this is his first book published in Russian. B.Shapiro emigrated from Russia to Germany in 1975, where he obtained the Doctor's Degree in Natural Sciences. At present Shapiro works in the field of theoretical physics at Regensburg University. In spite of this, he still primarily remains a poet. His poems can be compared to music rich in contrasts, which gives Shapiro's poetry special charm and originality.
