This is the second publication in the last ten years of a book about Sofya Ivanovna Naboko (13(26).09.1909 – 17.02.2005), an outstanding female volcanologist, doctor of geological and mineralogical sciences, professor, who stood at the origins of the creation of the Institute of Volcanology of the Siberian Branch of the USSR Academy of Sciences in Kamchatka. The first edition was in 2012.
