The retired police major Sorokin lives abroad, where he learns about the death of his only seventeen-year-old son. It turns out: the guy was in a den of drug addicts to get his girlfriend out, but got into a showdown. Sorokin's friend, the head of the criminal investigation department, Lieutenant Colonel Grach, promises to find the killers. Meanwhile, a whole wave of attacks is sweeping through the city: unknown persons are killing drug addicts, homeless people, prostitutes, and bandits. The mother of the murdered prostitute helps Sorokin. At the risk of his life, he goes out to the police, who consider themselves "orderlies" of society. And they are led by ... Rook. During the confrontation, former friends have to engage in a deadly battle.
