Ruta Ruzhyn organically adapted to the role of mother to orphan Solomiyka and lover to Sviat. However, the criminal world tears the woman out of her family idyll: the journalist finds work again. Everything begins with the seemingly senseless theft of Ruta's old computer from the editorial office and a bronze sculpture from the museum. Both of these things have no value and seem unlikely to be related. Local operatives come to a dead end. Their only version is that the computer was stolen by some prankster, and the statue was taken away by the sculptor. And only Ruta is sure that the police are wrong and stubbornly continues the investigation.
