The collection includes articles dedicated to two anniversaries. The conference brought together both established authorities in musicology and those at the beginning of their scholarly path – students, master’s candidates, and postgraduate researchers from Russian universities. United by a deep sense of respect and devotion to the art of the great Rachmaninoff, the conference participants discussed a wide range of musicological issues, including the preservation of the composer’s creative heritage, his particular approach to chamber and vocal genres, the active life of his music in the contemporary socio-cultural space, and questions of style and performance practice, among others.
