The album invites the reader to have a look at the selected collection of 165 of social, political, propaganda, educational, military, sports, announcing and advertising posters by Russian and Soviet artists created from the 1890s to 1997. Only the most significant works that make up "gold reserves" of the Russian poster are collected in the issue. The authors of an introductory article look at the problem of Russian poster from a new angle. All the inscriptions to the posters are in Russian and English.
