The monograph is devoted to the complicated social and cultural phenomenon of the Russian futurism. The process of development, self-identification, and legitimation of the new cultural trend is treated in the broad context of aesthetic, religious, philosophic, scientific and technical, occult, psychological, ideological, and social problems.
