The monograph is devoted to the song folklore of Russians in Dagestan, which is one of the main connecting elements of the transmission and preservation of traditional culture, and develops in interaction with the folklore of the peoples of Dagestan. The work examines the themes and poetics of non-ritual Russian folk lyric songs in Dagestan, which have not previously received due coverage in scientific works. The study uses extensive factual material from field recordings, archival data and ethnographic observations. The appendix includes data on systematization, analysis of texts of non-ritual lyric songs and ditties, song lyrics and data on performers of Russian lyric songs in Dagestan.
