Svyatoslav Fedorov was not only a world-famous ophthalmologist and director of the “Eye Microsurgery” Inter-branch scientific and technical complex, where he managed to establish a brilliant model of new economic relations, but he was a famous political figure as well.
Fedorov was sure, that free labor and self-governing of the working people will become a dominating tendency in future economic development in Russia, that is why in 1995 he created the Self-Governing Party of Working People. Many of his speeches and articles were dedicated to the questions of self-governing in production and “public enterprises” organization.
