Based on the text of the tragedy of W. Shakespeare, “Romeo and Juliet,” the specificity and characteristics of a romantic culture of love are examined. The author focuses on various phenomena, aspects of the discourse of romantic love. A feature of the publication is that for the analysis of various fragments of the discourse of lovers, a historical and philosophical discourse from antiquity to our times is used, which creates a kind of philosophical picture of understanding the complex phenomenon of Western culture.
