On the basis of unique and previously unknown materials the monograph sheds light on the history of publishing of scientific literature in Siberia during the period from the second half of the XIXth century to 1917. The research considers work of the Russian Geographical Society in Siberia as well as publishing activities of scientific organizations, societies, museums and institutions of higher education of the region.
