The monograph considers the institute of public control and its modern legislative regulation. Public control is a significant form of influence of civil society on the exercise of public power, contributes to the realization of citizens' rights and democratic development of the state. This legal institute has been enshrined in many Russian legislative acts. However, not all solutions in this area are optimal, and the current systematization of legislation requires further constitutional and legal development of the issues of the subject, methods, forms of public control and their peculiarities.
