The book publishes articles by the editor-in-chief of the journal Economic and Social Changes: Facts, Trends, Forecast, scientific adviser of the Vologda Science Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences, corresponding member, Doctor of Economics, Professor V. A. Ilyin, who opened all issues of the publication in the period 2015–2018. The main theme of these publications is the political and socio-economic discourse of the effectiveness of public administration at all levels of government (federal, regional, local), as well as a wide range of problems of the “post-Soviet person” - from everyday ones that affect almost every citizen of our country, to global ones at the basis of national security and civilizational self-determination of Russia in the XXI century.
